Everyone Lives in a Watershed
July is Dutchess Watershed Awareness Month. Throughout the month, local watershed organizations have sponsored a wide variety of events across the county, coordinated by the Dutchess Watershed Coalition. You can learn more about the DWC and upcoming events at www.dutchesswam.com click here for details of the big event in Beacon on July 25 MORE INFO
As part of the festivities, Coalition volunteers have written a series of feature articles for the Poughkeepsie Journal's Sunday environment page. We've put them here as a way to increase awareness of our local watersheds and the importance of protecting them.
